Tangsibji
It consists of seven number of villages, 232 number of households and 1,848 number of population under the Gewog according to the PHCB-2005 result. It covers an area of 371 Kmē where it has Wangdiphodrang Dzongkhag to the west, Langthil Gewog to south and Drakteng Gewog to the east.
The east-west highway runs through the Gewog and acts as a main artery for economic. Still most part of the village is remote and very few numbers of farm roads are constructed. Paddy, rice, maize and vegetables are the major crops grown.
One BHU, three ORC and a RNR center render services to the villagers of the Gewog. One Lower Secondary School, three-community primary school and one NFE centers provide basic education facilities in the Gewog. The geog has 68 numbers of telephone connections.
There are two micro hydle in the Gewog, one at Chandibji and another one at Tangsibji village. Micro hydle at Tangsibji village was established in 1987 with a generating capacity of 0.03 MW and it benefits 53 households. Micro hydle at Chandibji was established very recently in 2005 with a generating capacity of 70 KW and benefits 31 numbers of households. Other villages still lack those facilities.
The sacred monument like Chandibji chorten is located within this Gewog which lulls immense numbers of tourist.
